Dr. Aimée Nasser-Karam, from our team, participated in the International Federation for Psychotherapy (IFP) (soon to become the World Federation for Psychotherapy (WFP)) meeting held in Casablanca, Morocco from February 9 to 11, 2023.
The International Federation for Psychotherapy (IFP) is an organization of national, regional, and school-oriented psychotherapy societies and aims to facilitate and promote international communication among the various schools, professional groups and cultures within psychotherapy.
Dr. Aimée Nasser-Karam was invited to represent Lebanon and give a keynote speech about “Becoming a More Effective Therapist, Understanding and Targeting the Cognitive Vulnerability of Depression” at the International Federation for Psychotherapy (IFP) meeting.
She was also elected as a board member of the International Federation for Psychotherapy and Professor Cesar Alfonso was elected as the new president.
