Dr. John Fayyad, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and vice-president of IDRAAC, was a keynote speaker during the  23rd World Congress for the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP ) which was held in Prague from July 23-27, 2018. 

 

Dr. Fayyad gave a presentation titled "Mental Health and Interventions for Child and Adolescent Refugees" where he highlighted IDRAAC's work in mental health and psycho-social interventions among refugees. In addition, Dr. Fayyad's presentation shed the light on the mental health needs of the refugee child and adolescent populations as well as the challenges that might be faced while planning for interventions.
